The Genova Cristoforo Colombo Airport is 20 minutes far from the city center: the easiest way to reach it is by taxi-the approximate cost is around 20€- or bus.
The Genova-Airport Bus service, Volabus, is run by the AMT company (the Genova public transport company) with departures every hour on the hour from the airport to the railway station of Genova Principe (one of the main hubs of the town): the first departure reaching Principe Railway Station is at 06.00 the last at 23.20, the first departure from the Genova Principe Station to the airport is at 05.40, the last at 22.40. The ticket has a cost of 4€: it can be bought on board the Volabus, at the Poste Italiane office in the airport, at all AMT ticket offices, kiosks, automated ticket machines and at Trenitalia's ticket offices. The Volabus ticket gives access to AMT Genova and Trenitalia's urban transport network.

In Genova there are two main stations, Genova Brignole and Genova Principe for national and international rail connections, close to the town center and linked with the most important public transport services (underground and buses).

The City of Genova has one underground line with seven stations that crosses the town from west to center: San Giorgio and Sarzano Sant’Agostino are the closests stops to the Cotone Congressi Conference Center. On weekdays the underground service works from 06.30 to 21.00, on holidays from 07.00 to 21.00.

In the following map you can find the most important bus connections of Genova: a single ticket, valid for 90 minutes, costs € 1,20 and can be used on city railway connections and buses, a 24 hours ticket (buses and Trenitalia city railway) costs 3,50€.
